Serve with Brains

Matthew22:37(NIV)
37Jesus replied: " 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'

37Jesus said, "'Love the Lord your God with all your passion and prayer and intelligence.'

As much as we love God with all these..
Serving God with our MINDS is really essential as we walk with God.

God don't want His people to follow Him or grow blindly.

God created a complex, yet awesome organ..
that is the BRAIN.

The very fact that God gives all of us FREEDOM through CHRIST
and doesn't forces us or control us..
means all the more we need to be responsible and faithful with this
privilege.

1 Corinthians 10:23
[ The Believer's Freedom ] "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"—but not everything is constructive.

As we serve God.. God wants us to think..
and decide what's biblical.

Many times in church as we serve God..
In our spiritual lifes..
we may tend to think we are doing right in God
by doing what everyone does..
it can be just following the example of ur peers in church,cg members,
or even leaders..

We may think that "Since she's/he's doing it this way or talks this way..
it doesn't matter if i behave this way too."
or we simply just get influenced easily(in the negative way)
cuz they are people in the FAMILY of GOd, not of the world.

but GOD give us a mind to think!
to evaluate what's right and wrong..
better and best..
to decide!

It is our spiritual lifes we're taking care of and am responsible!
How we want to build it strong is up to what decisions we make
and based on wat principles they are.
