CID had a Lunar New Year event!

WE had Lion and Dragon Dance
and a dance performance from HSS~!

Had Yu Sheng..again.
haha..
All in all, had an awesome time with my friends there.

Finally, watched The Lightning Thief with QK today~
haha it is a dope show!
It just cost $4.50!!
Really enjoyed it haha.

things we do, possess, achieve, etc.
God reminded me abt when its all stripped away from me, that is who i really am.
That is WHO God sees me as, not by the things i have/achieved..

Uniquely You

An elderly woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.

One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.

At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.

For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.

Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.

But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.

'I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.'

The old woman smiled, 'Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot's side?'

'That's because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.'

For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.

Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.'

Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it's the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.

You've just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.

Lunar New Year is here again...
so fast?
Actually 2010 just started awhile ago..
counting down and passing the year thru cycling many miles..
haha.

Well,
nothing beats home cook Steamboat!

Dad bought a new steamboat thingy~
and we had a sumptuous meal @ home with
love!

Bro and me also had a chance to bump around and came
across some museums in town area.

Check it out this olden post box!

We had a chance to snap a photo with an elderly and his grand daughter
outside the peranakan museum too!

Actually i really have a thing for museums.
I don't mind touring and spending time in museum for a whole day.
It brings this nostalgic feeling.
History has sooo much to tell :)

We headed down to Kwan Yang's Place
for a CNY dinner with CG4 and Queensway peeps.

It was indeed a great time of fellowship
and serving one another and being a salt and light to others.

Haha.. the peeps had lotsa fun taking pics and eating,etc..

It was a great sight to see the whole table of HOPE Queensway peeps,
except for 2 or 3 of us.

I don't see why we can't.
