It was memorable overnight and a really "crazy" one..
Had to celebrate Jess' bday and let our hair down too.. haha!

Happy Birthday JesS!

We decided to have a overnite at zyann's place and
all of us really had a memorable night of sharing, laughing and craziness!!

kinda expensive though..

Yeah.. we kinda din sleep at all thruout the night!
But i believe all of us really spent quality time to share n bond! haha

It's amazing..

was on my way home today,
after watching the movie" WANTED" with daniel, zach, angela & elise..
(oh they paid for me! Thank God for them!!^^)

When i reached Buangkok mrt station..
i was talking to my bro on the phone..after i hung up..
i just had this sudden urge(prob HS prompting) to go check my POSB acc..
hoping that the value will increase by any chance/miracle at all..
cuz my hp is in low value and etc..etc..

so when i checked the account balance..
i saw $50.92 with my very own eyes!

I'm sure the last time i saw it was $2.42!

it got me really thinking how in the world did that amount appeared!

And it came at the opportune time when im really in need..

i'm still wondering how/when did it happen..
whether someone did it or some technical error happened somewhere..
but no matter the case..

Thank YOU Jesus for providing at the time when im in need!
Really thank God for providing!!
It is really beyond words..
even now when i think about it..it kinda send the chills down my spine..haha

Lord, how could i ever be more grateful to you...?
Ahhh..!
(i would really love to know how did it happen^^)

And i was just sharing to my sheep, Isaac, about God provides
for us as we serve Him today!

God provides and takes care of us as we serve Him..

EXPLANATION of God by an 8 yr old

It was written by an 8-year-old named Danny Dutton, who lives in Chula Vista, CA. He wrote it for his third grade homework assignment, to 'explain God.'
[ ... and he had such an assignment, in California, and someone published it, I guess miracles do happen ! . ]

EXPLANATION OF GOD:
'One of God's main jobs is making people. He makes them to replace the ones that die, so there will be enough people to take care of things on earth. He doesn't make grownups, just babies I think because they are smaller and easier to make. That way he doesn't have to take up his valuable time teaching them to talk and walk. He can just leave that to mothers and fathers.' 'God's second most important job is listening to prayers. An awful lot of this goes on, since some people, like preachers and things, pray at times besides bedtime. God doesn't have time to listen to the radio or TV because of this. Because he hears everything, there must be a terrible lot of noise in his ears, unless he has thought of a way to turn it o ff.'

'God sees everything and hears everything and is everywhere which keeps Him pretty busy. So you shouldn't go wasting his time by going over your mom and dad's head asking for something they said you couldn't have.'

'Atheists are people who don't believe in God. I don't think there are any in Chula Vista . At least there aren't any who come to our church.'

'Jesus is God's Son. He used to do all the hard work, like walking on water and performing miracles and trying to teach the people who didn't want to learn about God. They finally got tired of him preaching to them and they crucified him But he was good and kind, like his father, and he told his father that they didn't know what they were doing and to forgive them and God said OK.'

'His dad (God) appreciated everything that he had done and all his hard work on earth so he told him he didn't have to go out on the road anymore. He could stay in heaven. So he did. And now he helps h is dad out by listening to prayers and seeing things which are important for God to take care of and which ones he can take care of himself without having to bother God. Like a secretary, only more important.'

'You can pray anytime you want and they are sure to help you because they got it worked out so one of them is on duty all the time.'
'You should always go to church on Sunday because it makes God happy, and if there's anybody you want to make happy, it's God!

Don't skip church to do something you think will be more fun like going to the beach. This is wrong. And besides the sun doesn't come out at the beach until noon anyway.'

'If you don't believe in God, besides being an atheist, you will be very lonely, because your parents can't go everywhere with you, like to camp, but God can. It is good to know He's around you when you're scared, in the dark or when you can't swim and you get thrown into real deep water by big kids.'

'But...you shouldn't just always think of what God can do for you. I figure God put me here and he can take me back anytime he pleases.

And...that's why I believe in God.'

God started to stir it in my heart that commitment
is soo important if we wanna achieve Great things for Jesus.

Just by saying "I wanna win my school!" or " I want to grow!!"
ain't enough.. it isn't the end.

It has to come with action.

And when we make such prayers or statments..
Tough times will surely come.

And that is the test.. the defining moments of our lifes.

What we say will all be seen whether we really meant it or not.

Commitment & Faithfulness till the end..
till we meet Jesus face to face.

Gift of handicap

Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn't get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan's angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty! At first I didn't think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then he told me,

My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.

Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.

The gift of handicap is powerful.
When it is appreciated, we'll be able to be humble and admit our weaknesses before God.
When we do it, we are able to have that divine exchange with God!

Limitations will break us when we see it negatively.
It can strengthen us and grow us when we take it biblically;
when we allow God to take control of these limits.

We can grow by sharing it with our shepherds/leaders.
And by surrendering and asking God to come into our lives to do
that divine exchange that Paul experienced!

God will turn a test into a testimony!

Alright!

The TEAM met on Monday to discuss and finalised the whole plan..

Today..
We had our Splash mania!

We were all really excited about these whole event, and
really prepared everything!

I'm really sure this ideas are gonna be sooo helpful for anyone that

So, when the ppl arrived and settled down..

God must be up to something.. haha

so, everybody gathered back to the shelther.

In the end, the games had a turn!

It really became "SPLASH MANIA"..

We just had a WATER BOMB fight among the teams.. etc..
Everyone was really wet and majority had fun i hope..(especially the visitors!)

Yup.. we had flour attack too!
imagine flour+water=...??

i had so much of those! Thanks to those who contributed to making me a bread:)
i think i really lost alot of hair due to the flour man..

At the end of the day, many times we face unforeseen circumstances..
and something not as planned or expected..

However, it can be a divine detour by God that wants to do something else!
(Of course if it's God's will to rain.. we can't stop it..but we gotta be sure that God never makes mistakes.)
We've to flow with God's leading!

Flexibility, Patience and a Sweet Spirit is key.

I'm sure that all of the gamemasters really learnt much too!
We all had fun, of course!

Really wanna thank God for their support, and enthusiasm in this!

Think about these.

I don't know why some people change churches; what difference does it make which one you stay home from?

A lot of church members who are singing 'Standing on the Promises' are just sitting on the premises.

Coincidence is when God chooses to remain anonymous.

Don't put a question mark where God put a period.

God loves everyone, but probably prefers 'fruit of the spirit' over 'religious nuts!'

God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.

He who angers you, controls you!

If God is your Co-pilot - swap seats!

Prayer: Don't give God instructions -- just report for duty!

The task ahead of us is never as great as the Power behind us.

The Will of God never takes you to where the Grace of God will not protect you.

We don't change the message, the message changes us.

You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage him.

Godly distress VS Worldy distress

2 Corinthians 7:9-13

Distress that drives us to God does that. It turns us around. It gets us back in the way of salvation. We never regret that kind of pain. But those who let distress drive them away from God are full of regrets, end up on a deathbed of regrets.

And now, isn't it wonderful all the ways in which this distress has goaded you closer to God? You're more alive, more concerned, more sensitive, more reverent, more human, more passionate, more responsible. Looked at from any angle, you've come out of this with purity of heart.

Often time we have distress and we turn to giving up or losing hope.

In the Word, it says.. distress tht drives us AWAY from God leaves us in regrets.

"Deathbed of regrets.."

so true.. when we are in distress and focus on it.. we'll surely turn to unwise actions, think of unnecessary thoughts.. condemn ourselves..and so much more..usually leads to depression,suicide,giving up,etc..

However, distress tht drives us TO God TURNS us ard.

Then we can exp God and then grow so much! cuz its God molding us thru distress!
It keeps us on the right track and helps us walk right with GOD.

We 'll do the right things.. postive actions..

We'll then get out of distress with a Pure heart.

OASIS
Higher,Deeper,Wider.

4 God-encountering days.

This camp was indeed a mind-blowing one.
Despite the fact that i've been to many campss..
i am so grateful to God that HE enabled me to do
my best to impart and receive as much!

The worship were awesome as
there were many prophecies spoken, word dropped by God..
Teachings,workshops,testimonies were inspiring and
life-changing.

The spirit is soo thick!

REally saw how some ppl in CA responded to God.
but let this not be just a camp-highness thingy..

It has to be growing for Jesus.

Also,enjoyed the time of GYEM, talking with people thru the night,etc..
It can be done,must be done and will be done.
